Today I’m disheartened by what’s going on at Seesmic. For any long-time reader of my blog(s) you’ll know just how important Seesmic has been in my life. In fact, Seesmic has been the very cornerstone of my online (and offline) social interaction in the past 6 years. I’ve met some of the most wonderful, genuine, and amazing people because of Seesmic and it kills me to stand by and continue watching its slow death.
A year ago this week Phil and I took our first road-trip together to Austin, TX for SXSW 2011. Phil flew in to Tampa from the UK and off we drove to spend a few days in a car together. We live-streamed our trip, took stupidly goofy pictures, managed to put up with the other’s minor annoyances (Phil’s socks! My bad texting while driving habit!) and listened to each other’s favorite music. There was one song in particular that we found ourselves listening to over and over – ‘Scared to Capsize‘ by She Makes War - and after listening to the angst-y, pure and sweet voice of Laura Kidd, I was kinda hooked. It also helped that Phil said, as he played it the first time, “this is totally your song, Krissi,” and he was right – it was perfect for that moment and for the rest of the moments in 2011.
Microblogging via Twitter has been my ‘creative’ babbling outlet in lieu of blogging in the last several years. One of the things I commonly do is make up hashtags (so does everyone else!) for specific parts of my life that tie my personal experiences together. A lot of the tags are for my own reference, while others are purely for fun. In the spirit of Thursday Thirteen, here are my 13 favorite hashtags that I’ve either made up or adopted from other sources and their (personal) meanings to me.

I'm a giver of endless second chances & the wearer of a shirt-sleeve heart. I'm a reveler in chaos & I love my own idealistic, unwavering hopefulness that one day I'll figure myself out.
In my life I've been 180° and back again & I'm ever-aware of what I have yet to learn...
